There may be hope for us yet!

Data shows that up to 20 percent of men in their 20s and a full third of men in their 30s will show noticeable signs of hair loss. Despite this being incredibly common, some people are really, really self-conscious about it.

And, if you’re looking for self-conscious people, there’s no better place to go than Reddit — specifically, Reddit’s r/Bald, a place where people post scalps with three strands of hair on them asking, “Is there any chance I can save this?” (Spoiler: no).

That said, the community itself is a fairly positive place, with most of the top posts being before-and-after photos in which people show off how much better they look after they finally get rid of whatever little hair they have left.

Still, losing one’s hair can be traumatic, and as a result, many people need the occasional reminder that going bald isn’t all that bad. Heck, there are plenty of bald people in the world — and one is marrying among the biggest pop stars of our generation!

Earlier this week, pop superstar and Brat-originator Charli XCX married her partner George Daniel, drummer for the band The 1975. Daniel, it should be said, is bald — and immediately, r/Bald began to celebrate.

“Bald king. Deserves a babe,” wrote one user. “We should feel very normal about this kind of photo, they look equally attractive and happy to me,” added another. “More pride in this than Bezos and his lizard wife,” offered a third.

Of course, others pointed out that Daniel was tall, handsome, talented and famous — but still, we’ll take our wins where we can get them!
