Is AC/DC Getting Too Old to Perform?
Or can youngsters of today just not handle the rock?

Remember how last year, everyone became concerned about Frankie Valli because he was filmed performing while dead? Well, now, people are levying that same accusation against AC/DC.
Recently, a video of the band performing in Massachusetts in May of this year has gone viral and, well, the video speaks for itself.
Oof. Pretty much everything about this video is a mess: everyone’s off-time, the vocals are trash and the sound mix sounds like something you and your boys would get playing in your garage — not at all fit for a stadium?
Commenters were, in the way that only internet commenters can be, endlessly cruel about the situation. “Yeah lads it might be time to stop,” wrote a user. “In their 70s now. Not paying to watch grandpas,” offered another.
However, I put forward a few ideas. First, if you’re paying for tickets to AC/DC these days, you know they’re not going to be at the energy level that they were in their heyday, and that’s just fine. Two, the crowd here clearly sucks. Where’s the energy, guys? And three, this may have just been a rough part of the set.
In fact, if you look up more videos from the group’s most recent tour, sure, you get some weird ones like this:
But you also find plenty where the band clearly still “has it,” whatever that means. For example, here’s Angus Young still rockin’ through “Shoot To Thrill” after all these years.
So, what do you think? Should AC/DC hang up the shorts?
