Joe Rogan’s Friends Followed Him to Texas. Now, They’re Realizing Texas Is Awful
They say it’s hot and “no Los Angeles” — feels like a few Google searches could have told them that, but okay!

For years, Austin, Texas, has been billed as the hot new city for residents of other metropolitan areas to move to. However, once you’ve actually been to Austin, it’s clear that the people writing these articles — and following this advice — prooooobably haven’t been to the city before. Can you see good music any day of the week? Sure. Does that justify becoming part of a 6th Street incident every few months? Probably not!
Still, some people visited and thought, “Hey, you know what? This isn’t half bad!” Many of these people were Joe Rogan’s friends and followers — and now, they appear to be deeply regretting that decision.
As reported by Chron, a lot of the people in Joe Rogan’s orbit who have decided to move to the southern state don’t seem to be liking it all that much.
Brendan Schaub has discussed how much he misses Los Angeles, Tim Dillon has called the destination “a horrible city without a soul … that should be burned to the ground” and Shane Gillis is on the record saying that “Texas fucking blows.”
Only time will tell if they decide to actually leave the state — or if they’ll just move to Nashville until they hate it there, too.
