Are Labubus Actually the Mesopotamian Demon Pazuzu?
Yeah sure, why not.

The labubu craze is just like all the big crazes of the past: fun for those partaking and strange for all of us on the outside looking in. There was a time when Beanie Babies were the hottest things on the planet. Fidget spinners had their moment, and so did Stanley cups.
That said, none of those trends were actually ancient demonic forces manipulating the youth into worshiping Satan.
These flyers have been popping up all across the US claiming that "Labubus are demonic" and that they are actually "vessels" for an ancient Mesopotamian spirit called "Pazuzu" pic.twitter.com/scIkM2kbbZ

Now, it’s probably just a joke, but a recent sign posted on Twitter notes the odd similarities between the labubu and an ancient demon popular during Mesopotamia. The Pazuzu was believed to have power over storms, famine and disease. Depicted as a winged creature with animal-like features, the only similarity between this ancient spirit and the Labubu is the face.
Now, your labubu probably isn’t channeling ancient evil spirits, but you can never be too careful, so follow the poster’s instructions and “burn the doll.”
