Christmas tree return Costco 2018


Right on schedule, during the past couple weeks millions of dead Christmas trees have been tossed in the trash following their successful mission of brightening living rooms everywhere. But one tree has found a different journey. 


Facebook user Scott Bentley posted his memorable experience waiting in the Customer Service line of a Costco this past week. A lady in front of him was looking for a refund for her Christmas tree, which clearly had served its purpose during the month of December, drained of life and drier than expired beef jerky.


The Costco customer service representative tried to rationalize the situation, but ultimately submitted to the rule that "the customer is always right". Sad.
