LEGO's $1,000 Death Star Is Flat
In this economy?

If you’re a fan of Star Wars, LEGOs and have an extra $999.99 lying around, then boy do I have good news for you! LEGO just released its most expensive set ever, a Death Star that you’re going to want to get your chicken-tender-holding hands on. However, there’s a catch: it’s totally flat.
Setting aside my opinions on who buys a $1,000 LEGO set (let’s be honest, it’s not kids), it feels like a scam. You mean to tell me LEGO is selling a toy for a third of the price of a used car, and it isn’t even a sphere? And people are okay with this?
The new LEGO Death Star has been officially revealed.

If you’re an adult with expendable income, knock yourself out, and if you’re a parent with a kid who loves Star Wars, I feel for you.
LEGO, for a thousand bucks, I expect a sphere. That shouldn’t be too much to ask.
