Man Learns Why You Turn Off Breakers Before You Cut a Wire

You’ve gotta cut the power before you cut the power lines.

You’ve gotta cut the power before you cut the power lines.

If you play with electricity, you’re going to get zapped. This is a lesson that you’re bound to learn at some point in your life, whether that’s as a child sticking a fork in an outlet, or as an adult trying to move an electric oven (speaking from experience with the latter).

When working with electricity, it’s best to try your best to *not* actually be exposed to any actual current. This is done by cutting all possible current prior to you working on whatever it is you’re going to be working on that has power.

Or, if you’re this man, you could just say “screw it” and take some metal tools to a live wire. Not a great plan!

Ford Truck Driver in Drive-Thru Really Can’t Admit He Screwed Up

I’m going to guess that car’s seen more drive-thrus than it has off-road terrain.

In the U.S., we really love our pickup trucks. This is despite the fact that we don’t really use them; one 2023 study found that a majority of truck owners don’t really use their trucks for, well, truck stuff, presumably instead using them more for their working-class social capital than any sort of actual towing or hauling.

Regardless, pickup trucks can be seen all over this great nation, usually in our fast-food lines. This guy screwed up while pulling forward in a McDonald’s drive-thru, and rather than just back up and admit defeat, he decided to power through, destroying all the grass in the process.

Let’s just keep on driving
