Reddit user GnarDead claims he purchased a $1,200 RTX 5080 from Best Buy on November 25th; however, when the GPU arrived in a box that had been opened and retapped, there wasn’t a GPU inside, but a pile of rocks.

According to GnarDead, he reported the box of rocks to Best Buy, who claimed that after conducting an “investigation” into the mishap, they would not be refunding his $1,200 purchase, nor would they be swapping out his rocks with the GPU he ordered.
