Mike Johnson Says Just Kidding, Trump Wasn’t Actually An FBI Informant About Epstein
No one was buying it, it seems.

As people across the political spectrum await the promised release of more Epstein files, the information we’re currently getting about it is lacking to say the least. From video that shows us nothing to documents we’ve already seen, it seems like the government is really dragging its feet when it comes to releasing this info. Wonder why!
Recently, however, House speaker Mike Johnson announced an interesting turn in the story: That Donald Trump was actually “an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down.”
This really rocked the news media — by which I mean nobody believed it for a second. Now, it seems that Johnson took the hint that no one was buying it and has walked back the claims.
In a statement, his office wrote that he was simply “reiterating what the victims’ attorney said,” adding that Trump was the “only one more than a decade ago willing to help prosecutors expose Epstein for being a disgusting child predator.”
To me, that doesn’t ring true. But I’m sure we can sort this all out by just releasing the files. You guys are cool with that, right?
