The Coldplay Effect: Nestlé CEO Fired for Cheating On His Wife With a Coworker
It’s tough out there for adulterous CEOs.

Nestlé, arguably one of the most evil companies in the world, recently fired its CEO, Laurent Freixe, after it was discovered that he was cheating on his wife with one of his subordinates, according to The New York Times.
Freixe, who had served as Nestlé CEO for just a year, was investigated back in May by the company for having an “undisclosed relationship” with a woman he worked closely with. Nestlé’s chairman, Paul Bulcke, said in a statement that the firing was “a necessary decision,” as “Nestlé’s values and governance are strong foundations of our company.”

Good to know Nestlé has such a strong stance on cheating.
Though, as a Frenchman, Freixe might have a case against his former employer. After all, infidelity is technically part of his culture.
