A 32-year-old New Zealand man was arrested for allegedly swallowing a diamond-studded Fabergé egg locket valued at roughly $19,000. The man, who was taken into custody at Partridge Jewellers in central Auckland last week, mere minutes after he allegedly swallowed the valuable.

The egg in question is called the “Octopussy egg” and was inspired by the James Bond of the same name. The man has also been accused of stealing an iPad from the very same jewellery store last month and is set to appear in court on December 8th.

Authorities have not yet recovered the stolen egg as they are still waiting to collect the evidence from the man.
