Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, owe their former security guard over $500,000. Why? Well, her husband allegedly assaulted the man — and after he sued the couple, they never responded, leading to a $503k judgment.

That was in 2022. Now, it’s been a few years, and Minaj and her partner still haven’t coughed up the cash. And so, the former security guard, Thomas Weidenmuller, is asking the court to seize Minaj’s house in order to cover for not only the judgement, but also accrued interest and enforcement costs.

Apparently, this is something you can just do. Weidenmuller says he’s not legally obligated to exhaust other collection efforts before asking for Minaj’s home to be sold, and that the selling of the $20 million home should cover what she owes.

If I were in Minaj’s position, I’d just cut the check.
