Courtney Clenney, 25, known on OnlyFans as Courtney Tailor, was being questioned by police on the balcony of her apartment in Miami Florida moments after she stabbed her boyfriend to death. Christian Obumseli, Clenney's boyfriend, was rushed to the nearby hospital, but ultimately died from his injuries.

Clenney is not being formally charged for the murder at this time as she has been hospitalized over mental health issues, telling the police she was going to kill herself while they interviewed her.

It's still unknown whether Clenney murdered Obumseli in cold blood or if she was acting in self-defense. Over the past several months, police had received many domestic disturbance complaints from the couple's residence.

A week before the stabbing, neighbors claimed they were in full view of the couple's window and watched Obumseli strike Clenney multiple times. The neighbor said, "'I could not tell if it was open-handed or closed-handed, but he was swinging at her."

However, those close to the couple claimed that it was Clenney who was the violent one. A friend commented, "We've seen her hit him. I've never seen him hit her. From what we've personally experienced between the both of them, we believe that Christian wouldn't put her in a position where she would need to stab him to protect herself."

Clenney was admitted to the hospital under Flordia's Baker Act, allowing authorities to admit someone displaying violent or suicidal tendencies to a hospital for up to 72 hours before a trial.

Obumseli and Clenney moved from Texas to Florida, most likely due to Clenney's rising influencer fame as she boasted over two million Instagram followers. Many of their friends from Texas claimed the couple never was never openly violent and were distraught about the news of the murder. One friend said, "We would have never guessed it would have escalated to this point. I think I speak for our whole friend group, we are just shocked. Very distraught about this," adding that this was not dissimilar to something you'd see in a popular crime documentary.
