Pinterest knows what its community wants and it isn’t AI-generated slop. It’s unclear when exactly Pinterest started allowing users to block AI-generated images from their feeds; but they did, and people are thanking them for it.

If you use Pinterest and want your feed to be kept AI-free, just go to your Settings, select ‘Refine your recommendations’ and deselect all the categories listed under ‘GenAI interests.’

It’s as simple as that.

I suspect that as AI continues to bog down our feeds, more platforms will give users the option to hide all AI-generated content. And if they don’t, the only people left in five years will be Boomers.
