Robinhood’s CEO Looks Like a Cheap Bond Villain

You’d be forgiven if you assumed Vladimir Tenev, the CEO of Robinhood, was soft-launching his audition to play the villain in the next Bond film. As someone who heads a company that’s drawn criticism from day traders for its shady practices and glitchy services, associating yourself with the likes of Le Chiffre and Dr. No is probably not the road you want to go down, but what do I know?
During a product presentation in Cannes, backdropped with a lake that screams “evil villain lair,” Tenev donned a suit that proudly says, “The company I work for commits crimes, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
