Saudi Arabia Just Opened a ‘Wild West’-Themed City
They’re not just performing “Cowboy Justice” on journalists anymore!

Saudi Arabia really seems set on becoming a tourist destination. While they’ve abandoned much of The Line — a proposed “city” that took the form of two 110-mile-long buildings — they’ve done numerous other things in recent years in an attempt to bring positive attention to the land. For example, they’ve hosted comedy festivals and built MrBeast-themed amusement parks, both of which I assume occurred without any controversy.
If that wasn’t enough to make you reschedule your Florida vacation for Riyadh, the country recently opened a new attraction: a Wild West-themed Cowboy Town, right in the heart of Saudi Arabia.
Visitors will be immersed in another world — one where things like gender equality and proper legal administration are thrown to the wind. Then, once they’re done in the rest of Saudi Arabia, they’ll be able to visit the Cowboy Town Jeddah, which is kinda more of the same except with horses.
Open until February 2026, the town advertises live shows, archery, American BBQ, and more. If you’re wondering *why* the country has decided to do this, this is the same country that says it’s going to make a future city with robot dinosaurs and glow-in-the-dark beaches — there is no “why”!
