New York fertility doctor, Dr. Morris Wortman, who has been accused of secretly impregnating his patients died on Sunday when his 'hand-made' airplane crashed in upstate New York. 

According to Orleans County Sheriff Christopher Bourke, “The preliminary investigation indicates that the wings of the aircraft became detached from the fuselage and fell to the ground landing in an orchard.”

Dr. Morris Wortman was sued in 2021 by the daughter of a former patient of his who accused him of using his own sperm to impregnate her mother in the 1980s. 

Many people online found the doctor's death poetic, musing the incident was "the universe taking out the trash." While others joked, "There's a lot going on in this headline." 

But one things is certain, Dr. Wortman lived the way he died, with a "do it yourself" mentality.
