If you’ve noticed that your X/Twitter feed is full of painted women, you aren’t alone. The trend was started by user Sadie, who, a few months ago, began posting thirst traps of herself painted blue from head to toe.

In one post, she shared how she does it, thanks to a “spray gun designed to paint cars.” Sadie said none of the “ones designed for makeup” cut it, as they lacked the power needed to “efficiently [sic] paint my whole body.”

The trend started as a way for Sadie to stand out among the thousands of X/Twitter bops who are vying for impressions on the platform. However, she may have started something big, as now yellow, pink and even purple women are starting to pop up on people’s feeds.

One X/Twitter bop, who used Photoshop to make herself blue (cheater!), received an offer from Sadie herself, who said, “I’m gonna need to make this happen for real.”
