The Internet Officially Has More AI-Generated Articles Than Human Ones
It was fun while it lasted.

According to Axios, the number of AI-generated articles online has, for the first time, surpassed the number of those written by actual humans. When ChatGPT was released in 2022, AI-generated content accounted for roughly 10% of all articles online. That number has increased to 52%, surpassing human-generated content in May of 2025.
I don’t want to sound like too much of a doomer (I do), but it appears the golden age of social media has passed. The Financial Times recently reported that people aged 16 to 24 spend less time online today than they did in 2019.

The signs are everywhere: disinformation is rampant, social media platforms are more restrictive than ever, and people just seem to be having less fun online.
However, there is one group that has actually increased its time spent online. Can you guess who?
Boomers. Obviously.
