Many cheeses are “acquired tastes” — meaning that they taste terrible but cost so much money that you need to learn to love it so you don’t feel stupid for buying it.


I’ve never had the cheese here, but I can only assume it’s one of them. A block of Spanish Cabrales cheese that had been aged in a cave for 10 months just sold for over $42,000.


While the cheese was well-reviewed, I have a gut feeling that it tastes like butt. What do you think?
