The WNBA has had a particular problem in the past few weeks. Basically, people have been throwing adult toys onto the court mid-play — specifically, massive, bright green adult toys.

Why? Who on God’s ogre-colored earth knows, but it’s been a major annoyance for players, who have warned that the act isn’t only disrespectful, but could result in injury.

Regardless, the act has become something of a meme, and there have been four attempted throws in the past two weeks alone. Now, one of the people has allegedly been caught and their name released.

According to Fox 10, 18-year-old Kaden Lopez attempted to join in the trend by throwing a toy, missing and hitting a man with his 9-year-old niece.

When caught, Lopez allegedly expressed remorse, calling the move a “stupid prank that was trending on social media.” It was also learned that he had purchased the sex toy the day prior specifically to bring it to the game.

Lopez has since been booked on charges of suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit material.
