Tom Brady has announced that next March, he will “come out of retirement” to play competitive flag football in Saudi Arabia. The flag football tournament, which is in promotion of the newly formed Fanatics Flag Football Classic, will feature NFL pros and alumni, including Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, CeeDee Lamb, Maxx Crosby, Rob Gronkowski, Sauce Gardner, Myles Garrett, Brock Bowers, Tyreek Hill and Odell Beckham Jr.
The tournament will be held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, and three of the 5-on-5 teams will be coached by Pete Carroll, Sean Payton and Kyle Shanahan. Brady, who made the announcement before Monday night’s Las Vegas Raiders-Los Angeles Chargers game, said he can’t wait to “get [his] competitive juices flowing.”
