Why do actors do this? There is no reason the lead actress in a Marvel movie needs to learn “quantum physics” to stand in front of a green screen for eight hours a day. But according to Vanessa Kirby, who plays Sue Storm in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, she did it anyway.

In an interview with Empire, Kirby said she became a huge nerd about quantum physics for the movie: “It was [sic] sad how much I got into it. I could waffle on about cellular vibration frequency.”
