As more information comes out about Jeffrey Epstein, people are getting a better understanding of who the man was and with whom he spent his time.

One of those people was Woody Allen, who recently told The Sunday Times that he had been a guest at Epstein’s dinners and that the man was nice to him. “We didn’t know Jeffrey at all then, but we see all these people there and they all embraced him, so we figured, ‘Okay, he’s a substantial character,’” Allen explained.

According to Allen, Epstein claimed that he had been “falsely” put in jail, but that he was now making up for it by “being philanthropic and giving money to cutting-edge scientists and universities.”

Consequently, Allen and his wife began to be frequent guests at Epstein’s home.

“He couldn’t have been nicer,” Allen concluded.
