If you’ve been considering getting a BBL, there are some things you should know. First, like any plastic surgery, having a bigger butt isn’t going to magically solve any body-image issue that you have, so you should probably get a little more comfortable with yourself before you consider it.

Second, and more importantly, it smells like hot garbage.

As noted by the Daily Mail, an increasing number of people are reporting that their BBL has begun to stink. While their behind may still be juicy and round, it also has begun to emit a putrid stench, which experts say is caused by unhygienic practices, tissue death and “fat necrosis.”

While some of these problems can be avoided (just shower!), others, such as the aforementioned fat necrosis, really can’t be. This is where there’s more fat in an area than the blood supply allows, and as a result, the fat begins to die — which can not only cause a foul odor, but other problems that can require hospitalization.

So, if you want a bigger booty, you might want to consider just plumping it up the old fashioned way: cheeseburgers.
