Since the Rules don't cover many questions, I decided to make the Frequently Asked Questions blog for everybody who's new to our section. If there's any more you'd like to know, ask your question in a comment below and I'll try to answer it.
How do I embed clips?
You need to copy the embed link for the video you wish to place here, click the EMBED button in the Body panel in the blog edition tool, and paste the address there. Click submit.
Why doesn't the clip I embedded from Youtube show up?
You have to use the old embed code for it to work here. Click on the embed option under the Youtube clip you are watching, then check the last square. Now try to copy that address.
Why did my blog disappear?
Either it was found unsuitable for this section by one of the moderators here, or more than one person flagged it. Open your profile and click on the Blog panel. If it's there, it means it was flagged by some loser. You best pm one of the mods or wait until they set it as accepted.
Who are the mods?
They are staff members you can contact for help. For the Blogs section, those gentlemen are UsedCarMan and PepperPeanut.
What's an alt?
Many users have alternate accounts. It's legal to have as many alts as you want. You're not a respected Ebaumsworld user if you don't have at least one.
Is it legal to post somebody's personal information here?
No. Punishment for doing so varies and ranges from ban to something as humiliating as being turned into a faceless.
What's a faceless?
Somebody with the default avatar. Nobody respects a faceless and some users even thing of replying to a faceless or adding them to buddy list as something disgusting.
How do I put music into my blog?
It's a brilliant trick first invented by MrsNekoJeans. It's actually very easy. You take the youtube old embed code and change all the size parameters to 1. This way it's going to appear as a comma. You need to add autoplay=1 to the string and you have to put it in the right place. Here's an example of how you do it.
