I got a couple messages in my inbox from people wanting to know how to put images into entries, so instead of sending out an individual reply to everyone I figured I would post how I do it in my blog. It's pretty easy, but harder to explain, so here are some pictures to help out.

1. Isolate your image somewhere online. I use Photobucket to store my images, and I will be using it through these instructions, through Mozilla Firefox. If you don't have a Photobucket account, you can sign up for one for free and keep all of your photos private and online.

2. Find the direct URL to your image. This will be an address that ends in ".jpg" and when you go to that URL, it will bring up a webpage with just your image on it, like this:

3. This part is more specfic. Next, you have to highlight over the image, the same way you would highlight over text in order to copy and paste it. So, use the left click and drag to highlight over the image, and once it turns blue (or whichever color you have it set to) you can right click on it to bring up the options.

4. Click on "Copy." Make sure you don't click "copy image" because for some reason it doesn't work if you do that. Clicking "copy" will secure the image in your clipboard and it will be able to paste directly into you your blog entry after this.

5. Now your image will paste in the entry. It will be whatever the original size is, but you can adjust this by playing with the diagonal circles/squares at the bottom right corner of the image.

6. Just readjust the size to whatever you want and you're good. I am going to provide the links to the images at the end of this post in case you can't see them for some reason. But that's it!
