I dont have much time because I am a little drunk and going out soon but the thought came to me and you know how it is when you gotta go you gotta go, well how to stop terrorism, well someone may have had this idea before or many people may have but it seems no one is listening because if they did we wouldn't have heard about any terrorist attacks. When someone decides to blow someone up, or stab someone, run someone over, fly a plane into a building, that isn't the end of it the act itself isn't the objective, it is an attack that will inspire more attacks and spread the message of the terrorist and their twisted ideologies and their brand of religion. You know how you stop this shit or at least take the power away from their attacks? STOP FUCKING TALKING ABOUT IT AND PUTTING IT INTO THE MEDIA.

IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

I know you might see the irony in me talking about it but I have to state the opinion for people to read my opinion on the matter, the rate of attacks is increasing rapidly and the way they are covered is so in depth that the terrorist may as well have given the media a manifesto to read out, yes there is the freedom of the press and people have a right  to know what is going on in the world but learning about it is the catalyst for more attacks. Imagine there as an attack someone in the world but the local and international media didn't report it, there was a concerted effort from social media platforms to quash any and all messages about the attack, they couldn't stop them all but the knowledge of the attack would be significantly reduced to say a few hundred or a few thousand in the local area instead of tens or hundreds of millions of people finding out and being afraid. 

If the greater majority never find out about these attacks and there is no post mortem on the media where the terrorists ills and beliefs and opinions are aired for all to see, if no one knows about it and no one is talking about it and the message and fear isn't spreading then why would they keep blowing people and themselves up. I know there would still be radicals that would never give up but the number of people they could radicalise and inspire would be drastically reduced, their numbers would be limited by natural attrition as after all they are suicide bombers and suicide by cop. We need to stop talking about it, stop broadcasting it, stop giving these people the platform to scare people and spout their twisted views, you can't argue with this logically. Then we have to ask ourselves why wouldn't the media do this, well for one it is profit, after all news is a business now and so is social media, if you don't pay for something you are the product being sold, we need to stop talking about this, the real power isn't in the attack itself its how it is shown in the media afterwards.
