Please don't get me wrong.

I don't go out of my way to offend,

nothing like that in the slightest.

I give positive advice, I tell jokes

(nice ones... sometimes),

I'm loyal, dependable,

I try to be good person towards anyone

who knows or meets me.

 However... I seem to be into the position

where my opinion is wanted

towards a specific touchy matters

and I assume they really want to hear it,

in all it's raw material.

I'm understanding

and sometimes towards certain situations

I'm sympathetic,

but I will be blunt.

I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear

for fear of loosing your friendship.

I shouldn't have to

and they should be able to expect the same from me.  

I don't expect anyone to understand, many don't.

I still have friends that get mad at me,

though somehow they've learned to appreciate me in that regard

and THAT makes me respect them even more.
