A Priest and a Rabi were next door neighbours, and each constantly strived to outdo the other. So, when the Rabi had a new car delivered, the Priest was straight on the phone to the dealership.

A few days later, the Priest's new car was delivered, and as the Rabi came out to watch the Priest started sprinkling water on the bonnet of the car.

"Father, you'll not get it very clean like that" quipped the Rabi.

"I'm baptising it - I would never drive a car that hadn't been brought into the true Church" replied the Priest.

Half an hour later the Priest was passing the Rabi's house when he noticed the Rabi cutting half an inch from the end of the exhaust pipe...
