This sculpture by Marie Uchytilova commemorates the 82 children of Lidice. The small Czechoslovakian village was attacked by Nazis, and in July of 1942, all 82 children were transported to the extermination camp at Chelmno, where they were gassed.

A German girl is horrified at hundreds of dead following US Army's liberation at Namering, Germany. Soldiers would force townspeople outside camps to travel through bodies of the murdered so any who feverishly denied the holocaust could personally view the work of Nazi leaders.
