Commercial flights have been common since “the golden age of flying” in the 1920s and ‘30s. Since then, business-folk and public figures like musicians, politicians, and the Hollywood elite have relied on them.
If we’re being blunt, hearing actors constantly mention flights from New York to L.A. can be quite nauseating. We get it though. It’s a big country and those hubs are far apart.
So what happens when a celebrity suffers from severe aviophobia or aerophobia? Their career suffers as well, since we’re clearly living in a global economy. People in Europe love to see their favorite bands play live, and film executives love to see their stars filming in exotic locations. Here are a handful of celebrities that people in far off lands probably won't be seeing anytime soon.
