15 Photos of Cowboys Holding Out At the Very End of the Wild West

These cowboys don’t know when to quit.

The Golden Age of cowboys was during the American Wild West, from the 1860s to the late 1880s. But even as cowboys began to die out in the early 1890s, many kept the lifestyle alive for decades to come.

These cowboys don’t know when to quit. 20, 30, 40 years after the profession fell from grace– not a problem. These rough-riding cowpunchers don’t care that it’s out of style. And isn’t that the most cowboy attitude of all?
