The comic who lived to 100 left a legacy that'll last even longer. 

George Burns is one of those very few entertainers who had a charm that transcended decades. He was one of the only stars to successfully transition from vaudeville to radio, then radio to TV and movies. He and his wife, fellow acclaimed comic Gracie Allen, starred in their own show for decades, until her retirement prompted him to launch back into making hit movies.
