15 Slow Ride Photos Of Foghat In The 1970s

Name a more '70s band. We'll wait.

You know, for a band from London, England, Foghat were able to perfectly tap into ‘70s Americana. Maybe it’s the visuals of Matthew McConaughey cruising to “Slow Ride” in Dazed and Confused, but that tune (and Foghat in general) became synonymous with ‘70s chillin’. Alright, alright, alright.

True fans already know this, but to date, the band has actually released 17 full-length albums — with the most recent having been released in 2023. That kind of longevity needs to be commended. Still, a half-century later, we’ll always look back fondly on classic ‘70s moments brought to us by Foghat. Here are 15 early Foghat photos that remind us all to take it easy.
