Two convicted murderers pulled off a "Shawshank Redemption" escape from a maximum security prison in upstate New York by cutting through a steel wall and following a series of tunnels until they emerged from a manhole outside the prison walls.

A massive manhunt continues for two convicted murderers who escaped from a New York prison over the weekend. The prisoners, Richard Matt and David Sweat, were discovered missing from the maximum-security Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora about 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
