The World's Fair was celebration of international community, and some pretty cool retro tech.
The World's Fair, or as it's known in the Europe, the Exposition Universell, is a place for nations around the world to show off their achievements. New York had previously held it in 1939, and the businessmen of the city were determined to replicate it's success in the 1960s. For two years, an area in Queens was home to exciting displays, space-age technology, international entertainment, and whole lot of businesses competing to design the coolest pavilion.
See the nation's of the world come together at the height of mid-century design and vintage coolness.
