See one of the most desperate moments of World War II become a victory for morale.
In May 1940, over 300,000 troops were trapped on the beaches of France, completely surrounded by the Germans. All hope looked lost, as the evacuation ships that were already too few started to sink. British civilians across the Channel took matters into their own hands and evacuated their soldiers with the famous “Little Ships” of Dunkirk.
Witness how one of the greatest defeats of World War II became a ragtag operation that allowed the men to live to fight another day.
