What can we say about 1978? Well, after a touch of research we can tell you that Jimmy Carter was president, and home-brewing became legal coast to coast. If you remember your dad or uncles whipping up batches of bubbly swill in the garage, you have 1978 to thank for it.
The year did have a certain unpleasant occurrence involving Kool-Aid and a place known as Jonestown, but we don’t have to get into that now, do we? There was a big win for women who could finally join the U.S. Army, and if you happened to be around back then, hopefully you were livin’ the good life in much simpler times.
