There are many things in this world that get a lot of hate. Some of them are totally unjust and undeserving of the feelings and attitudes toward them, while other things 100% deserve every ounce of disdain they receive. Shrinkflation. (The sneaky method of reducing product sizes instead of raising prices in order to increase profit.) Way worse than straight-up price rises in my opinion. At least price rises are clear.

Scientology. It's one of the most complex brainwashing schemes in the world. People who search for a meaning of life end up in these groups, and any of us can fall for them. Then there is no way out, or at least without huge consequences.
