There’s nothing more 1970s than sitting out on the hood of a nice car. Try it on a car nowadays and you’ll leave a thousand dollar dent, but back then cars were built sturdy.
Maybe it’s because teens didn’t have anything else better to do, or maybe they just wanted to show off their awesome new cars (can you blame them?), but for some reason everybody was lying out on their muscle cars and snapping pics.
Check out these photos that are so 70s it hurts. Again, don’t try this today. You’ll fall right through the entire car and somehow end up sitting on the concrete.
