They say those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it, and I genuinely think we've been stuck in the same cycles for way too long. Sure, our tech has gotten more advanced and we are capable of doing a lot more these days, but it really seems like we can't seem to get over our short-sightedness as a species.

Sadly, history is just not taught in a way that most people will ever take enough interest in it to actually learn something. That's where I'm hoping these history memes can help.
