Everyone loves to see a good fail every now and then. And if they don't, then it's only because they're failing so much themselves.

The term 'fail' has become a little muddied over time, and it's definitely strayed from its origins as an insult yelled out only at people who fall down or get seriously injured. But if that means there's more fails out there to laugh at, then that's OK.

You might be surprised to learn that George Washington committed the first fail, when he tried to chop down a cherry tree and instead stubbed his toe and had to go sit down for the rest of the day. He's lucky no one was there to film his fail and yell at him.

Actually, maybe dinosaurs were the first to fail when they couldn't dodge that meteor. Didn't they see it coming?
