A solid Fun Pic can do a lot of things. A solid one can brighten your day, take your mind off of your troubles, and remind you that life is beautiful.

But a good one, a really good one, can be used to distract people from the giant pit they're about to walk into. This simple tactic, tried and tested, is one of the most effective recruitment processes for interns, hands down.

Thank goodness too. We burned through quite a few interns last week while testing out a prototype for our eBaums World Automated Nano-Swarm. We're still a few years away from human testing we had to dip into the intern supply.

Arguably, even the Fun Pics we use to obtain new interns are able to dispel boredom just as effectively -- if not more so. It's rare you'll find yourself twiddling your thumbs in boredom during a violent power struggle for dominance of a large, damp pit.
