Reason 69,420 why we'll never go on a cruise ship.
A Carnival cruise ship carrying 2,504 passengers and 972 crew members has caught fire. Apparently something went awry with the ship's funnel, and smoke began billowing out. Eventually the funnel was engulfed in flames.
The cruise liner was docked in Grand Turk at the time of the incident and nobody was harmed.
Carnival will apparently be sending ANOTHER one of their ships to collect the passengers, which is honestly less than reassuring. I'm just glad we're living in a time where nearly ever human on planet earth has a cellphone and can document this sh*t. Enjoy!
