Following Floyd's initial announcement that the two would face off in Las Vegas on Aug. 26, the UFC superstar sent out this hilarious tweet: "THE FIGHT IS ON," Conor wrote, alongside a photo of himself and Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Later McGregor was back at it posting a photo of himself standing in the middle of the boxing ring where he's been training. The caption reads: "I am a filthy Irish animal." In the background there's a new a new mural that features himself punching Mayweather in the face. While the photo is funny, Twitter couldn't help but give McGregor some pushback, given the recent videos that surfaced showing him getting schooled by a unknown boxing pro during a recent sparring session.
