This is Dunkie, the Dunking dude of the '50s. He was their mascot and a beloved donut head. The rolls of leg and arm fat really quite appropriate

And this is why it as called DUNKIN

There were 52 varieties, all delicious and made fresh every day rather than packaged from a factory and nuked on high

This was the branding from the time they were opened through the '60s
