Neighbor Unhappy with Free Lawn Care, Gets a Life Lesson About Entitlement
They say not to look a gift horse in the mouth. While most of us aren't going to be caught looking any horses in the mouth these days, the saying really means not to question the value of a gift you're getting for free.
A neighbor learned this lesson the hard way when, after a dude courteously chose to make a habit of mowing his yard too, had the audacity to complain about the lack of cleanup after the gracious act. The cleanup being... the only thing left for the neighbor to do.
While most of us would (hopefully) be a little wiser than that -- seeing that our friendly neighbor had just done us a solid -- and happily done the last 10% of the total effort, this guy actually "critiqued" the free lawn care he was getting and ended up getting a free life lesson on top too.
