Every '90s Toy That Ruined Your Parent’s Day

And made your childhood 1000% better.

By Micaela Montaña

Published 2 weeks ago in Wow

Let’s not sugarcoat it, being a ‘90s kid was pure chaos. Bugs, goo, buttons you had to press, and sounds that haunted your parents' dreams. Back then, we didn’t play quietly. We played loudly, proudly, and usually with something that needed batteries, made questionable noises, or mysteriously disappeared into carpet fibers.

And while we were busy living our best lives, our parents were silently plotting to "accidentally" throw our toys away during spring cleaning. This slideshow isn’t just a trip down memory lane, it’s a tribute to the plastic, screechy, messy little monsters that made the ‘90s so dang iconic (and maybe caused a few family arguments).

You know what’s coming. That inner child is already screaming. So grab your juice box, channel your 7-year-old self, and get ready to remember the toys that defined a generation and destroyed a few adult eardrums along the way.
