The facepalm is quickly becoming a timeless classic meme. Perhaps faced by the famous Captain Picard facepalm meme, it has become a part of our vocabulary to describe any number of happenings from cringe, to dumb, to straight up fail.

From the reddit thread r/facepalm, this is a collection of hand picked facepalms that cover a full range of topics from stupidity, to fails, to politics that maybe even you lot might bring your palm to your face for.

It's just not possible to realistically combat every form of stupidity in the world. There are just too many comments, too many people, and too many policies out there that should be challenged and changed. Alas, every one of us is only one, with our chosen issues to be passionate about. The rest, well, we don't have the emotional capacity to fight, so there's only one thing we can do. The facepalm.
